SLJ Hackett Ltd are proud to present this elegant late Bristol 401 with significant upgrades.  Finished in timeless Blue bodywork this Bristol 401 has a presence that is undeniable. The interior is trimmed in Cream leather upholstery coupled with Brown piping, this is contrasted with the carpets which are Brown with Cream piping. The seatbacks are trimmed with a heraldic design that provides a tasteful distinction to this 401’s interior. This Bristol car has been kept in fantastic working order with both the exterior and interior showing little signs of age, wear or otherwise. This Bristol 401 has been sympathetically upgraded to provide the best driving experience a 401 can; it has been fitted with the final run, 2.2 litre 110 series engine, with oil cooler and recent aluminium radiator, front cross member and anti-roll bar from a 406 with, front disc brakes, Laycock overdrive, Vokes air filters, and electronic ignition.  This has improved the power and driveability no end whilst keeping the ride smooth and comfortable. Regular maintenance by Spencer Lane-Jones and the upgrades combine to make this one of the best Bristol 401’s to drive in existence, it is a comfortable classic that retains its vintage roots but which handles modern driving requirements with ease.  This is a driver’s Bristol 401 and should not be missed for those looking for a classic car ready for immediate and extended use.
