SLJ Hackett are proud to present this silver Bristol 603 S2 from 1981.

The 603 Bristol model carried the Company between 1976 and 1982 with an estimated 65 cars being built.  This Bristol 603 Series 2 model was built in 1982 making it one of the last Series 2 cars built.   It is finished in silver with black leather upholstery.  The interior and woodwork are in excellent condition.

On the road this car handles extremely well, with a very smooth ride and the 5.9L V8 engine pulls reassuringly well.  The car will sit at 100mph with the engine only turning over at 3,300 rpm so it is a supremely relaxed cruiser on long journeys at legal speeds!  Power steering and 4 wheel servo-assisted disc brakes ensure the car stops just as well as it goes - effortlessly.

This car was previously the property of the pop singer Liam Gallagher during the period when he was married to Patsy Kensit.  Whilst he never had a licence to drive he enjoyed the car, with the aid of his chauffeur.

The car has a comprehensive service record with its present owner who has made considerable efforts to keep it in excellent condition.  In additional to routine servicing, recent work includes:  rebuilt gearbox, new clutch, full brake rebuild including 2 new servos, replacement rear shock absorbers, overhaul of engine and transmission cooling system, overhaul of cabin heater.  In addition, where corrosion has been identified, this has been excised and repaired.
